The Cobbler
The Cobbler HN1706 was produced in various versions and colours and was an early study by one of the first modellers at Royal Doulton, Charles Noke. Noke played a vital role in the development of figure-making at Royal Doulton.
The Cobbler is thought to have been based on Baba Mustapha in Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. It is a figurine full of vibrant colour and character.

Our website will automatically add £10.00 for packing, insurance and UK shipping of a standard-sized figurine. For smaller items, such as paperweights and miniature figurines for example, a charge of £6.00 will be added. The postal charge for international shipping will be usually £32.50. Weight and size restrictions apply to the airmail service and it is usually not possible for us to combine more than one standard-sized figurine into one parcel. If we can do so safely we will however please assume the £32.50 international shipping charge will be per figurine.
We take the utmost care in packing as we want the figurine to reach you in the same condition it leaves us. We make no profit on the charge we levy our customers for packing and shipping. Only new packing materials are used. We only use delivery services that incorporate a tracking system. In the UK this is usually Next Day Special Delivery and First Class Recorded Mail. Airsure or Internationally Signed-For services are used for overseas deliveries. We are happy to discuss alternative shipping arrangements with customers.
