The Imogen figurine from Coalport

Over the years we've developed a particularly loyal customer base.

Growing and expanding just as we have as a company, it's always pleasing to see new customers as much as it is returning ones - it makes us confident that we're definitely doing something right!

With customers coming back to us and new ones visiting for various reasons, they all have different expectations.

But what, in general, should you expect from us?

First and foremost - and the point we like new customers to understand before anything else - is that whatever collectible figurine you're looking for or whichever of our services you considering using, you'll always have it provided and delivered with only the highest standard of customer service.

We know that above all else, no matter which products we have available or how in demand they may be, if the general service we provide is poor, the product selection isn't going to matter a great deal.

However, as we do aim for only the highest level of customer service, it's time to talk about what you should expect in terms of the products!

Stocking a vast array of different new and retired figurines, as our name suggests, Royal Doulton is what we specialise in and we're proud of our range, but they're not the only brand we offer figurines from.

Doing our utmost to provide a wide variety of collectibles, we have figurines from Beswick, Coalport, Royal Crown Derby and Royal Worcester.

And what's more, if you can't find something you like or are looking for, you simply have to get in touch and we'll do our utmost to source it - we even offer a no-obligation search service, meaning you can find out if the collectible is available without having to commit to buying it.

What's also important to understand is that we don't just help our customers by providing them with the products they're looking for, but we can help when their figurines go missing or get damaged, too.

Offering a full insurance support service, from an in-depth valuation through to a complete replacement, we know that accidents happen sometimes and that you want the whole scenario resolving as quickly as possible, which is why we ensure we're delivering only the most effective and efficient service at all times.

We love being in this industry.  Huge admirers of all of the figurines we offer, we get a huge amount of satisfaction knowing that we're providing products and services that are truly pleasing our customers.

Striving to continually meet expectations, we only want to deliver the highest standard of customer service possible and if you have any questions about anything we offer - Royal Doulton or otherwise - you simply have to get in touch.

4 Brands We Offer At The Doulton Lady Other Than Royal Doulton

The beautiful Coalport Operetta figurineAs you may have guessed, our speciality at The Doulton Lady is Royal Doulton and the many beautiful products they offer.

Like so many others, we absolutely adore the figurines that Royal Doulton have produced over the years and which they continue to produce to such a high standard today.

It's because of this why when we setup the company, we had an aim to specialise and offer the figurines from Royal Doulton first and foremost.  As with every successful company, we wanted to be able to provide the products we wanted to buy ourselves!

But, as much as we love Royal Doulton, they're not the only brand whose products we truly adore and the truth is, the vast majority of those companies from the English Potteries produce products that we'd love to have in our house - which is why, alongside Royal Doulton, we also stock figurines from four other major brands.

1.  Coalport

With the company dating back to 1795, when John Rose started creating pottery by the Coalport Canal, Rose had many years experience in pottery and soon expanded his company.

Continuing to happen for decades, by 1890 there was an extensive export business in place to America and Canada.

Seeing huge success over the years, in 1926 production moved to Staffordshire and the company was taken over by the Wedgwood Group, although they retained the Coalport name and have continued to build on the success John Rose started to this day.

2.  Royal Crown Derby

One of the oldest of the English Pottery companies, dating back to around 1750, Royal Crown Derby were originally known as 'Derby Porcelain' and their name changed to 'Crown Derby' in 1773 when King George III granted them approval to use the royal crown on their products.

Just over a century later, Queen Victoria appointed them as 'Manufacturers of porcelain to Her Majesty', at which point the name changed once more to that which we know today.

Whilst the main factory ceased production for many years in the 20th century, as the brand was incorporated within the Allied English Potteries Group, in 2000 former director of Royal Doulton Hugh Gibson led a buy-out and made Royal Crown Derby a separate company once more.

3.  Royal Worcester

Considered by many to be the oldest English Pottery company (although it's often argued that Royal Crown Derby hold this title, as they were both founded around 1750), the company have long been associated with some of the highest quality porcelain products available on the market.

Although the company unfortunately went into administration in November 2008, all of the intellectual property rights were purchased by the Portmeirion Group in 2009 and they have continued to produce products under the Royal Worcester brand since.

4.  Beswick

One of the youngest companies from the English Potteries, Beswick was setup in 1892 by James Wright Beswick and his two sons, John and Gilbert.  However, this 'inexperience' in no way detracts from the wonderful porcelain figurines the company has created over the years.

Known largely for their Beatrix Potter figurines, the Beswick company was actually sold to Royal Doulton in 1969 and although production continued until the late 1980s, it was sporadic afterwards.

However, in 2005, the brand was bought by Yorkshire company John Sinclair (Sheffield) Ltd and production of high quality animal figurines once again started under the Beswick name.

Huge fans of all English Pottery companies, Royal Doulton may be the brand we're known for primarily, but we really are delighted to be offering fantastic porcelain figures from a range of other potteries, as we know just how beautiful the figures from various other companies are.
