Height: 8.25" 21cm Issued: 1998-04 Made in England Supplied in Coalport box Kensington Parade http://www.thedoultonlady.co.uk/prods/827.html   Kensington Parade is a delightful example from Coalport's retired Age of Elegance Collection.  Rather than the usual glazed finish the Age of Elegance figurines have a matt texture, which is the appeal to so many collectors who appreciate the intricate detail that is achieved.   Kensington Parade features a beautiful young lady out for a stroll on a Summer's day.  Her long lilac skirts swirl around her revealing a glimpse of lacey petticoats in a deeper mauve also the colour of her very elegant fitted jacket.  Two pretty pink roses are worn on the collar of her jacket matching the closed parasol she holds. Polonaise Walk brings us an attractive Edwardian lady dressed in a delightful gown of pale green and cream.  Her dress is decorated with raised trails of yellow roses and tied at the waist with a perfect bow. Her outfit is completed with a fabulous broad brimmed hat decorated with nine exquisite yellow roses and she fixes a further two into her hair. The figurine was issued by Royal Worcester in a limited edition of 7500.  Crafted in fine bone china, it is richly hand-painted and embellised in 18 caret gold.  Ella is supplied with her numbered certificate of authenticity. Harriet is dressed in a stunning 1920s outfit.  She wears a silk day dress in soft turquoise with a  wool edge to edge coat in a contrasting toffee colour.  Her outfit is completed with a fabulous cloche hat with narrow turned down brim.  She has a dreamy expression on her face whilst she cuddles close her beloved Yorkshire Terrier.
