For all serious collectors of Royal Doulton retired character figurines, The Fiddler HN2171 is a "must have".  It sits in the same group of quality figurines as Jolly Sailor, The Hornpipe, In the Stocks and The Tailor.  It is Royal Doulton at its best; the colours are rich and vibrant and the modelling detailed. 

The big featured face of The Fiddler is a trademark of the excellent modellor Mary Nicoll.  In this piece she has captured beautifully the fun and music of the moment.
