The Farmer's Wife HN2069 is a wonderful figurine from Royal Doulton with vibrant colours and detailed modelling. 

It shows a farmer's wife feeding the corn she has held in her apron to the chickens gathered around her feet. 

Surprisingly, Royal Doulton did not issue a Farmer at the same time to pair with the Farmer's wife.  However, she displays beautifully with the figurine called Lambing Time HN1890, a shepherd who has the same craggy features and gentle smile.
