The figurines in the Royal Doulton retired Classique Collection were produced in resin, which allowed for a particularly detailed and realistic finish.  The Collection aimed to recapture the fashions of the 1900s. The drape and texture of the dresses, along with the jewellery, were reproduced to perfection.

Virginia CL3999 shows a confident and poised young lady in a late 1930's evening gown.  The dress, in a silver blue, has a structured bodice and bias cut hem.  The outfit is completed by matching shoulder drapes.

Supplied in a Royal Doulton box with a marble-like plinth into which the figurine stands and with its certificate of authenticity.
