Charles II HN3825 from Royal Doulton was issued in 1996 in a limited edition of 1500 and is one of four figurines belonging to the Stuart Kings Collection. This prestigious figurine, researched and created by Douglas Tootle, is entirely hand-crafted and hand-painted and embellished with 22 carat gold.
The "restoration" to the throne of Charles II marked the end of republican rule in England. His reign saw the rise of colonisation and trade and secured Britain's future as a great sea power.
