Blithe Morning HN2065 by Royal Doulton shows a beautiful girl out for a morning stroll on a blustery day.  She catches her hair back with one hand whilst the other holds tightly onto her bonnet.

Blithe Morning is a lovely figurine first issued in the 1950s.  At this time the faces of Royal Doulton ladies were totally handpainted by skilled artists and the colours of the dresses were made rich by using a variety of shades to give a depth and texture to the finish.
