kate Greenaway achieved international success at the end of the 19^th century with her children’s books.  Her illustrations were the inspiration for the Kate Greenaway Collection from Royal Doulton.  The eighteen figurines in the Collection are mostly girls, who are typically dressed in high waisted simple gowns with poke bonnets or mobcaps.  There are only two boys in the set namely Tom and James.

James HN3013 is arguably the most sought-after in the whole collection.
