In today's age of computer games and TV it's comforting to lose ourselves occasionally in a nostalgic glimpse of past childhoods that were so much simpler.  Both Milestone and Hold Tight by Royal Doulton capture childhood pursuits of past eras.  Milestone HN3297 depicts a brother and sister enjoying a ramble in the countryside on a blowy summer's day.  They pause alongside an old milestone as the young boy points out something of interest.  A charming figurine that is becoming increasingly difficult to find particularly in such superb condition as this.
