Several of Royal Doulton's earlier sculptures from their Images Collection were simultaneously produced in a choice of pure white bone china or deepest jet black basalt. The matt finish of the latter allows the purity of the sculpture to be truly appreciated unhampered by colour or glaze. 

The "Family" beautifully captures the tenderness and devotion of the new, proud parents.
