One of the most dramatic episodes of World War II was the evacuation of thousands of children from British cities affected by bombing campaigns to safer rural areas. The Royal Doulton Children of the Blitz Collection of four figurines depicts the poignant scenes of a young boy and girl being forced to leave their families and the same children joyously returning after the War and being reunited with their loved-ones.

The Boy Evacuee HN3202 stands bravely ready to leave with suitcase and gas mask over his shoulder, but his face shows clearly the upset and confusion he's feeling.

The Boy Evacuee was issued in a limited edition of 9500 and is supplied here with his numbered certificate of authenticity.  We have all four from the collection in stock.
