We are delighted to bring you The Welsh Lady Springtime - Y Gymraes Gwanwyn HN5136 from Royal Doulton.  She is dressed in traditional Welsh costume and is out walking on a breezy spring day.  She carries a basket overflowing with freshly picked daffodils and she pauses to admire one of the much-loved springtime blooms.

"Gwanwyn" has been modelled by the wonderfully talented Valerie Annand who skilfully captures movement and grace in her pretty ladies.  The figurine is made of bone china and crucially each daffodil has been hand made and hand painted using traditional methods.

"Springtime" is the fourth in an extremely popular series of Welsh ladies.  If you missed out on the earlier editions you will be pleased to know we have limited stock available of the Welsh Lady Harpist .  We also maintain a waiting list for the first two editions for when they occasionally come up on the secondary market.
