The sculptor has skilfully captured the gentle emotion of tenderness in this elegant figurine from the Royal Doulton Images Collection. The soft drape of her gown, the slender form of her figure and the careful cupping of her hands around a delicate rose, together create a beautiful image of tenderness. Images are produced by Royal Doulton in pure white bone china and the deepest jet black basalt. The result in each case is a dramatic sculpture with simple, flowing lines.
