A delightfully romantic figurine from Royal Doulton's retired catalogue of ladies.  Summer Blooms is one of a Collection of four figurines representing the Seasons, which were exclusive to the Guild of Specialist China and Glass Retailers.  As such each carries a special gold backstamp. 

Summer Blooms shows a beautiful fair-haired girl wearing a day dress in sky blue.  Her Summer bonnet is tied on with a perfect pink bow matching the lacy parasol she carries.  Her delightful outfit is completed by the three pink roses adorning her hair.
