Sophia was the Beau Monde figurine of the year for 1999.  Beau Monde figurines are no longer produced by Coalport but they are still extremely popular with collectors who prefer a matt finish to figurines.

Sophia is looking extremely stylish in a long gown of pale lilac with matching hat, both of which are decorated with deep pink roses.
