Kate CL3995 is a delightfully feminine figurine from the retired Royal Doulton Classique Collection.  She is dressed in a stylish 1930s trousers and bikini set in subtle shades of pink and cream.  A scarf drapes around her and captures her movement whilst walking an equally graceful Afghan Hound.

Figurines from the Royal Doulton Classique Collection are now very sought-after, especially in such beautiful condition as this example.    Royal Doulton used the properties of cold cast resin to produce slim, elegant figures with a wealth of sculpted and handpainted detail. The style and textures of the dresses and jewellery were all reproduced to perfection to accord with the fashions of the early 20th century.

Supplied in a plain white box with a marble plinth, into which the figurine stands, and certificate of authenticity.
