Gwynneth HN1980 was retired from production at Royal Doulton in 1952.  This age of figurine was completely hand-painted by highly talented artists at the Nile Street factory in Stoke-on-Trent.  The red of her dress contains at least half a dozen shades to give it a sense of texture and volume. The modelling is fine showing slim elegant fingers and facial features.

Gwynneth is dressed in a simple country dress and mobcap but there is no denying her exquisite beauty.
