The figurines in the Royal Doulton retired Classique Collection were produced in resin, which allowed for a particularly detailed and realistic finish. The collection aimed to recapture the fashions of the 1900s.

Bernadette CL4005 is one of only two black women in the Classique Collection (the other being Tanya) and is arguably one of the most sought-after of the Classique figurines. She is dressed in a fabulous coat with deep cuffs and smart matching hat.  Her travel bag is placed at her feet.

Supplied in a plain white box with a marble-like plinth into which the figurine stands and certificate of authenticity.
